Our firm carries out conservation and restoration work on architectural monuments. The list of our work includes historical decorations of interior, exterior and their individual elements. i.e. ornamental and figurative paintings on wooden, plaster, canvas, stone and paper basis; stucco marble; stucco ornaments and cornices, articles of joinery furniture; bronze chandeliers, different articles of bronze founding; stained glass; sculptures; easel pictures Copies are manufactured after original art objects and decorations, named above. Custom designs are also realized, as reproductions of originals or based on drawings. In our foundry we mostly use the old technology of earth casting, in addition we make sculptures in wax moulds. |
KAR-Grupp Ltd. preserves the know-how of the specific restoration work, accumulated throughout four decades in numerous buildings in the historic town centres and manor houses of Estonia. The Department of Art Restoration has been active since 1976, affiliated with the government. Our Group carries out conservation and restoration work on architectural monuments, paintings, sculptures, furniture, lamps etc. In addition, we carry out research on restoration sites and offer advice concerning restoration. We have been approved by the Estonian National Heritage organizations.
